Our Little Moonlight

Silver in the moonlight shinning very bright,

now it is bedtime time to say goodnight,

the moonlight is shinning light a deep bright light,

climbing into bed now goodnight oh sleep tight.

This is one of the songs I've sung to all my babies. With Colby-Pokey being my last baby. It's sure bitter sweet watching him fall to sleep, watching him grow over night, and imagining him as a young man. I know he will be determined to teach the gospel and make us all proud in years to come.

He's mastered crawling this month.
And boy am in for it, but I'm glad it's taken 8 months.

He also likes to get up on all fours like a little spider.

Kaden works magic every day to make his baby happy.

Just Shooting the Breeze

The week before Sean's birthday I planned a fun double date with Uncle Phil and Auntie Pam.

My handsome man and his toy gloc.

Brothers shooting around.

Pam getting some tips from her personal expert.

Me trying to look like I know what I'm doing. Good thing my hunny was there with me to help me reload.

My main squeeze lovin' his surprise.

After the range we headed to Sean's favorite Argentine Cafe "Tango Baires". After we pigged out we ended our date with an intense movie called, "Contagion". Sean didn't want pics at the restaurant and especially not the theater.

His actual birthday fell on Sunday this year. Sean was at meetings about 9 hours total throughout the day. He didn't complain one bit. He reminds me of my Daddio. He never complained especially when he was in the service of others.

Good thing Dad's lungs are strong because his cake was like a bonfire.

Tanner surprised Dad with a home made chocolate and cheese blend. He came up with the recipe all by himself. For the record, Dad did taste it.

Colby made some cinnamon rolls and a smoothie for Dad to enjoy after his morning meetings. The kids usually make him breakfast but Dad had to leave at 6:10 am.

Kaden's special sign he made for Dad.

Brookie made this cute ship for picture for Dad.

Tan's sweet colorful card.

Brookie said there's a mermaid in the ocean but I'm not sure what the smiley face is.

Tan left these sweet notes and for Daddy. My favorite part reads " U are asom".

My Simple Joys

When Colby's napping and Tan and Lyn are at school we break out our dance moves playing the wii.

He's extra sweet when it's just the two of us. I love my Kaden time!

Brookie Love is so creative. She added these feathers and real flowers to her hair clip then brought it for my approval. It looked fabulous!

Brooklyn and Tanner will snuggle every opportunity they have. Kaden on the other hand is a temper-mental snuggler. Sometimes I get a little sad when he denys me. :( So when I was snuggling in Kaden's bed recently I was super tired so I was humming, "I am a Child of God". He interrupted me and said, "DON'T HUMM HUMM. I DON'T LIKE HUMM HUMM MOM!"

I can't recall if I've posted this before so just in case here it is again....All the kids know that they are cut out of my tummy (c-section)when they are born. Brookie thinks that all babies are born that way. Randomly one day in the car with Dad she started crying. Dad was clueless what had happened. So after calming Brookie down enough to understand what she was saying, I figured out that she was crying because she didn't want to have surgery's to get her babies out. We were so sad that she is already worried about this and she's only five.

Tanner loves his Brooklyn, Kaden and Colby. When Kaden naps, Tanner will quietly kiss his checks and head and quietly sneak away. Tanner always comes and tells me when his mission is accomplished.

Hot Date with my Tan

Tan took me on a hot date to see the movie "Dolphin Tale". It was a great movie. My favorite part was hugging my Tan without dividing my attention.

And it was 3D.

After the movie we went to Krispie Kreme's for a special donut. We both really enjoyed our relaxing date. Tanner is such a good son. He makes us so proud!

Missing Caitlin

Caitlin Jolley would have turned 3 this month. We sure miss her smiles.

We celebrated little Caitlin's birthday with some cupcakes. It's a family tradition that involves hundreds of people now.

I still remember her 1st birthday party.

We took the kids to Oak Glen thinking we were going to go apple picking. We weren't able to go. I rely on the internet to much. The hours listed were incorrect so we got there a bit to late.

We still made the best of it. Walked around and tried our first apple burrito.

It's kinda hard to see the cool Ford behind the kids. What an antique!

Always sharing the love...

Colby-Pokey had no idea what we were doing but he was sure happy to be outside. He's always so mellow and a sweetie boy. We made some good memories together. Next year I'll confirm the old way with my phone.

26.2

Miles that is!

Saturday, October 1st 2011 was a BIG day in the McMullin Familia.

Sean ran his first marathon which = 26.2 miles consecutively. Yes he's the man!

Tan and Kaden were sick before we left to St. George and Brookie and Colby got sick just in time for the trip. So amongst the chaos packing up sick kids to see Dad at the race, I forgot the cameras. I was devastated. The only pics from the race is from my bad camera phone and a professional pic will be added later once it's mailed to us.

The kids traditionally make Dad special signs to cheer him on. Oh and to melt his heart too.

I just couldn't resist capturing this moment. Sean may delete it. He deserved a 2nd nap day two... that's for sure.

Kaden got a special surprise visit from his Cousin Natalie. They are only 4 months apart, and man do they resemble each other!

We had a great time visiting with my Mommy aka Grandma Hundley, Uncle Tito and Auntie Courtney and of course Natalie and Kaitlyn too.

It was fun spending some QT with Family during a fun historical event marathon weekend.
(disclaimer: we didn't intentionally get Robby's family super sick... sorry. xoxo)
