One Handsome Grad

Tanner had an end of the year bubble party.  In the past when I've attended class parties, Brookie has stayed with Grandma and Kaden. This time Tanner specifically asked if Brookie could come.  He said, "Mom I really want her to come. I know how much she will love it!"

Thanks to Miss. Perlman, Tanner was well taken care of and had a great kinder experience.

Last time in the classroom!

Can't forget our SUPER DAD!!
After the party, I got a flat tire when I drove to close to the metal frame of the curb. Daddy came to the rescue without any complaints.  I felt so bad.  It was around 100 degrees outside.

And here's our Handsome Grad!!!

Someone felt a little left out.

All better.

Can't forget Matthew....
After the first month of school I realized I was spending 45 minutes a day picking up Tanner from school. It was interfering with Kaden's naps, so I asked our 6th grade buddy Matthew if he'd pick up Tanner from the gate and walk him to my car.  This shaved off 25 minutes of waiting in the kinder line.  I offered to pay him a quarter a day and he accepted. It was sure a win-win for us all!

After Graduation we spent the afternoon celebrating.at the beach.

Tanner catches at least a dozen sand crabs each beach trip.

We topped off the evening at good ol' Ruby's Diner.

It still doesn't seem real that Tanner is going into first grade. For now we are living it up and enjoying spending all day, everyday together with Tanner before August comes around.

We are so proud of you and love you forever Tan!

The Best Dad Ever

Tan is so thoughtful. He not only writes this for Dad on Father's Day, he writes special notes for him year round.

It reads, "Dad, can you take me and Brooklyn to this movie?"

Tanner helped decorate Daddy's special requested German Chocolate Cake.
Six candles for six years of being a Daddy.

Tanner suggested using the self timer. Such a great idea!

The past couple years the kids have hid complimenting love notes around the house for Daddy to find each Father's Day. They love playing Hot-Cold with him.

We are so blessed to have Daddy!  He always knows how to make things better, make everyone laugh, fix everything, and brighten each day!  Daddy is sure doing something right...every single day the kiddos run for the garage door when they hear Daddy is home!

You are the Best!!!

Kadster the Great!

KJ is as busy as ever. He has stayed in the exploring stage since we moved. He was a bit bored at the old house and then decided that now we are in the new house, he needed to continue exploring. He's so busy! It is very cute to see him in action.

Kaden tries his best to call Daddy on his own.
When he talks to Dad on the phone, he'll talk for up to ten minutes.

Kadster is still the stubbornest in the family.  I'm scared what the teenage years will bring.

Lov'in Grandma Hunny (Hundley)

This little sugar gives us lots of kisses and hugs all day long. It's so rewarding and rejuvenating for all of us!  He can get nearly anything from brother and sister and he knows it!

Playing a tune with cousin Megan.

Daddy has been voting for a hair cut. I thought it always looked perfect because it's curly.
It never looked like this. I was just trying to demonstrate how the curls can hide such long hair. Kinda reminds me of The Grinch when he was a child.

After the haircut...
Good thing there's a little wave left.  I can't wait for it to get long again.

Kaden loves to smile and say cheese!

He loves to wear Tanner's backpack when we take him to school.  He doesn't like giving it up either! Tanner says his heart melts that Kaden wants to be just like him.

It's a Good Ship Lollipop

Our Lil'Sailor recently had her dance recital.

She tapped to, "It's a Good Ship Lollipop".

Brookie with her buds, Maddy and Regan hanging out back stage.

Getting ready to put on the show with Rylee, Savannah and Skyler.

Brookie is the fourth from the right.

I volunteered to help backstage. I gave Brookie the option if she wanted me to stay or go in the audience. She said how much she wanted me to stay with her. We had a great time we will never forget. I put on her make-up, we colored together, ate her favorite snacks and had great QT together.

Grandma McMullin, Grandma Hundley, Grandpa Doyle, Great Uncle Raymond, Tanner, Kaden and Daddy came to cheer her on.

Somebody was a little happy...

Brother knew how to make her feel extra special, he got her a flower.

Daddy was at the recital but was a trooper and left early with busy bee Kadster.

Sean often says that Brookie's Dance classes are for me. I think you can tell that she likes dance just as much as Mommy.  I loved watching my princess enjoy the evening and dance her little heart out.
