Utar

Every time I think of Utah I think of Utar. During College Daddy dressed up as a Utard (Utahan) for Halloween. Daddy will have to explain this one. To say the least, Dad dressed up silly. I wasn't there but I've seen hilarious pictures.

There's no disguising what state we visited recently?

Good ol' Utar oh I mean Utah.

We had the luxury of going on a mini vacation to St. George while the kids were out of school and before Daddy started working long hours at the newer Allstate office.

It was added fun to have the McMullin cousins around.

Cousin Eli currently loves mimicking Troy Bolton. He can't get enough of High School Musical.
I never thought these two looked a like but check out the similarities...

My Mommy was happily surprised we made it to visit before October. Her new house is beautiful. It's larger than ours. I still can't believe she's gone.... :(

On a brighter note. My Mom and I did attend the temple together. What peace and love I feel when serving my Heavenly Father.

Every time we come to St. George we "Love to see the Temple!"

The cousins enjoyed the visitors center together and the mini plums from the trees above them in this picture. I was shocked there were fruit trees on the temple grounds.

We went to the cool Washington Rec. Center.

Cousin Samuel got to stay and extra day and drive home with us. The boys LOVED it!

Brookie is currently taking swim lessons so we practice as much as we can with her.

We all had a blast. The rec. ctr has a pretty big tube slide. Dad and I were shocked that Brookie actually went on it several times with us.

Handsome Daddy was hanging with Colby so I could spend some QT with the other kids.

Wiped-out!

"The Big Cheese"

Uncle Rob is amused by calling Colbster "The Big Cheese" or really anything to do with cheese. Hence that there is a yummy cheese names Colby. Just not as yummy as my Colby!

"The Big Cheese" loved hanging out in the jumperoo and exersauser this month. And boy do I adore them too. He is even intrigued by watching baby Einstein shows. All 4 kids have loved them and still do.

Kaden was lovingly singing "I am a Child of God" to his little buddy.

Pretty soon Colby-Pokey is going to have neck problems.

He has so much sweetness to give. He smiles and talks to us about the angels he sees.

It's hard to resist nibbling on these little sugars.

He was so happy when he saw Kaden.

Chunkster is 4 months new!

Kaden is always trying to teach Colby something just like a big brother should be!

A little bonding going on...

I took these pictures of the "last" nursery since Colbster is our caboose.

Moving Up the Ladder

Brookie with her best peeps.

I was so happy to volunteer Brookie's LAST day of pre-school. I surprised her and her sweet face lite up and she had a prema-smile.

Princess Ana Leese had a casual graduation at the water park. So perfect for the little tots!

Reagan and Lyn just might be in the same kinder class too.

SO proud of our princess.
(Tanner wanted to miss school to come with us but I didn't let him.
Daddy wanted to join us but couldn't. He was in Sacramento for business training.)

Brooklyn was blessed to have Mrs. Aguila as her pre-school teacher just like Tanner.

We were honored to attend Tanner's end of the year party.

Some of Tan's first grade peeps.

Tanner was so happy to show off his Colbster. Tanner wanted them all to take turns holding him. Didn't happen. I'm to much of a germa-phobe.

Tanner was blessed to have Mrs. Ostiz for an amazing 1st grade teacher. She sure exceeded our expectations.

It was time to line up and Kaden followed his leader. Kaden LOVES his Tanner and Tanner LOVES his Kaden. Kaden follows Tan's example in so many areas of his life each day. Dad and i are so grateful that Tan is the best leader around!

This was one of Tanner's end of the year presentation projects. He really enjoyed designing it and received and A+++.

He also earned a "Barton's Best Award" for being kind and helpful in the classroom.
I can't believe that my Tanner Bear is has graduated 1st.

Sis and Tan are moving right up the ladder.

I'm so glad when Daddy comes Home

I am so glad when Daddy comes home, but the kids are the ones that clap their hands and shout for joy and climb up on his knee. They all attack him. Even Colbster breaks his neck following Daddy's voice when he enters the house!

At pre-school Brookie made this handsome handprint tie for Daddy and Kaden painted a tie also in nursery. Daddy was lucky to wear two extra ties to church on fathers day. The kids helped make Daddy runny eggs and toast to dip the yolk and anxiously showered him with gifts.

Tanner wrote this cool story for Dad (Once upon a time there was a latybug and it was on a leaf. I touched it and it flew away. That was cool. The End). Brookie colored this beautiful family picture. She loved green on father's day!

Tanner made this custom wallet at school. It contained two coupons: One read, I promise that I will play wii with you and the other read, I promise I will go on a date with you. Tan was so proud to give it to Daddy.

This post has TONS of pics but I just couldn't leave any out...

Part of Dad's present was a digital picture frame for his new office. He is further from home working more hours so I though Daddy could use lots of cute pics to get him to work extra hard.
These are just a hand full of pics we took for Daddio.

Daddy, Daddy let me say,
(Tune: Twinkle-Twinkle Little Star)

I love you in every way,

I love you for all you do,

I love you for being you,

Daddy, Daddy let me say

Have a Happy Father's Day!

Colbster slept the second half of the photo shoot. These pics were right before we packed up to go home.
