Introducing Colby William!!!

Colby William McMullin arrived!
February, 25 2011

7 lbs 12 oz/ 21 inches

Speechless...

Somebody's proud.

He's pretty talented already, look at those pinky toes.

Colby was successful at making some huge cheeks in my tummy.

All dressed up and ready to meet his three best friends that were anxiously waiting at home.

Our coming home tradition was a bit tampered with this time around.
Tanner, Brooklyn and Kaden were all sick. Not part of Mommy's plan at all. The pediatrician at the hospital released Colby with the promise that I'd keep him confined to my master bedroom till sister and brothers were healthy again.

Biggest brother is thrilled to be responsible for another little one.

Kadster was scared to touch Little Bear so Daddy helped.
And he refused to talk when he wore the mask.

Mother hen had been waiting for this moment for over 8 months. Her little heart was broken wearing the mask and only getting one turn but she made the best of it.

Colby's innocence permeates my heart.

He re-opens my eyes to the world of simple survival.

He soaks up the world with each new breath.

His heart no longer beating so near to mine but close to me he will stay forever.

xoxo

will continue to be a sure ticket of success!

Filling My Love Tank

My creative-thoughtful Hubby took me on an unforgettable birthday date...

He took me on a scavenger hunt. It really only makes complete sense to Sean and I but I wanted this to go down in history so you-(Tanner, Brooklyn, Kaden and Colby) know how much Daddy and I love each other. I'd better stop or Daddy will erase this post...

CLUE 1
Soft-spoken lagos is where it all began,
Hurry on over as fast as you can!
Don't let the cow smell impede you on your way,
Let this be the beginning to a very fun day!

Our first apartment-Whispering Lakes Lane, Ontario
(Lagos is lakes in Spanish)

CLUE 2
In Uruguay the Posada is where it was
Let's go on over there just because
it is fun to go back and look at past time
and see where our memories take us to find.

Our first house on Posada Ct. Corona

CLUE 3
Miguel's Senior's what should've been lazer tag and one more,
say nothing at all and you will find where your next clue will be in store.

Prado View Elementary School-we danced in the parking lot on our first date.

CLUE 4
Loud music and many people all around. But there YOU are the only sound.
So many distractions there could be, but YOU are the only focus to me.
Hurry quick, so many things to do,
I'd get there right now if I were you.

Newport Beach Church building-We had a memorable date attending a dance together here.

CLUE 5
There are clearly many ways to say
I Love You and TAMA and what we say today.
But only one place where those words were first spoken.
There is an icon a symbol to our loves first token.

Oceanside Beach life guard station 8 is where we first said, I LOVE YOU!
(That was a little too far so Newport
Thank you for going on this journey to the past,
I hope you had fun and it was a blast.
Now head in the car for the night is not through,
back to Elderberry where there is still much to do.
The fun in our relationship should never end
As long as you are always my best friend!
TAMA

Yes, Dad is very creative and can plan the coolest date's. Maybe when you are about 22 or so he'll give you boys tips on how to score some points with the ladies.

~Thanks hunny for yet another memorable date.~

Go Dragons, Go-Go!

Tanner played basketball this season for the first time.

This Dragon learned the game and we are so proud of his progress.

The kids loved fighting over the sign we made.

Tan was blessed to have Daddy as assistant coach.

Having fun at the team pizza party.

It's amazing how happy a trophy can make a little boy.
And he was so kind to give it to me just days later as part of my b-day present.

Run for Russ

Officer Russell M. Miller Sr., a 12-year veteran of the Chino Police Department, died in the line of duty on February 1, 2000. Officer Miller was involved in a routine traffic stop, and while approaching the stopped vehicle, was struck from behind by a second vehicle, driven by a subject who was under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. Officer Miller was critically injured, and was transported to a nearby trauma center where he died while undergoing surgery.

Grandpa McMullin worked with Officer Miller at the PD and knew him well. This year Grandpa, Daddy, Uncle Phil and Pam all participated in the "Run for Russ" Memorial Run.

It's become a new tradition for the kids to make Daddy priceless signs.

Brookie is Uncle Phil's favorite niece seeing how she included his name on her sign. He's participated in over a dozen runs and has never had a sign!

So glad we were there to cheer the family on!
