Until We Meet Again

My Daddy, "Grandpa Hundley" will never be forgotten. On his birthday we celebrated with some of Grandpa's favorite things. I made bird's nests (egg's in the middle of toast), apples and bananas, milk in Grandpa's special Disney collection cups, and little candy bars on the side. My Daddy would buy candy bars nearly every grocery store visit for my sibiling's and I. My Daddy was always so thoughtful!

On Grandpa's birthday April 29th we often visit grandpa's grave. It gives me a time to share loving memories I have of my Dad with the kids.

I know my Dad visits us often, making sure we are using the cross walks, buckling our seat belts hugging each other all the time!

The kids understand that Grandpa's body is buried here. They also know that Grandpa's spirit is with Heavenly Father. Tanner and Brookie are excited for the day that Grandpa's body and spirit will reunite again! They have so much to share with him.

Another favorite of Grandpa's was vanilla wafers. So at his grave site we brought some to eat.

Colby isn't used to eating food that contains gluten. We splurged and let him have some wafers.
He was curious and could hardly believe his eyes!

14 months of our Busy Lobe

I had to capture my snuggler asleep on me. It was a little difficult balancing his 25 lbs on me while I took the pic with my free hand but it was a success. He had such a hard time falling to sleep this afternoon. His teeth were bothering him and despite the teething gel and teething tablets, all he wanted was ME, of course I felt super special!

Up....

Up....

Up.... and away!

He felt very accomplished and happy while I was about to have a heart attack! Another evening we were having family prayer in Brookie's room. We knelt in a circle and towards the end of the prayer we heard Colby fussing. He had wandered away during the prayer, climbed the bunk ladder and was holding on with one hand facing out while fussing for someone to rescue him. Daddy rescued him and we have since removed the ladder and it is no were to be found!

At the top of our stairs you'll find this gate. Colby continues to copy his siblings in hopes he will gain access to the other side. He's a busy busy bee to say the least!

We all will jump at the opportunity to get some snuggle time with Colbster. Kaden gleams ear to ear when he gets a turn to snuggle his baby.

Taking Upon HIS Name

Our handsome Tan made the decision to be baptized.
We are all so proud of his decision; the commitments and promises he has made to Heavenly Father.

I thought this day would never come. I am overjoyed to be his Mama. He teaches me so much about being loving, kind, forgiving and patient. Just as our Savior. We are grateful he sets a righteous example for Brookie, Kaden and Colby.

" I bear my testimony that I know the church is true. I know families are forever. I know that everyone should get baptized like Jesus was. I share with you my testimony in the name of Jesus Christ Amen."
We printed Tanner's testimony in the program to share with everyone.

Here's a fun collage we made of Tanner 9 months till age 8.

When I see these brothers look into each others eyes, nothing but love and devotion is felt!

One of my favorite parts of Tan's special day was that he played the opening song and closing song on the piano. "When I am Baptized", has been one of Tan's favorites for at least 3 years. And "I am a Child of God" was Tanner's first song he learned on the piano. May I mention he learned it by ear without help!
Do you see how big lil' sisters smile is? I also can't resist commenting how much Brookie and Tan's faces look alike.

Mowers
McMullin's and DiMaggio's
My Tan's program. You know me, I can't forget every detail.

We made great memories and hopefully made memories our Tanner Jared will always remember on his very special day!

Captain Tanner America

This is just a small portion of the crowd that attended Captain Tanner's B-day party.
This picture is so funny. Tanner's face looks a little it was super natural or something. We made Tan's cake out of ding dongs.

This is Tanner's favorite tree in our front yard. He had a blast partying with all his friends and family.

We borrowed our friends huge movie screen and played the movie "Captain America". This is a picture of Tanner working the concession stand. Dad made some cool fake money that had Tanner's face on the front.

Uncle Phil made it fun and paid Tanner with a real dollar.
I know this pic is horrible quality but it's the only one I had of the two of us from the party.

Hollywood Here He Comes

My amazing man ran a super cool half marathon. We hope to make it to the finish line with signs and all next year.

Sean's buddy Steve also ran the first annual Hollywood Half Marathon.  I'm so grateful Sean is in good shape and making sure his heart is healthy!

Putt-Putt with my Tan

I had the honors of taking my Tanner Bo Banner on a Putt-Putt date at his school.
We had a great time goofing off  together. Tan smiled the whole night. Just what I was hoping for!

Easter Festivities

He is Risen!

Annual egg fun! This time Colby was super curious. Good thing Tanner was quick to forgive Colby for hitting his eggs together causing them to crack.

Dad and I always love watching our angels on Easter morning.

We feel our Saviors love!

It was great switching it up a little adding a silly pose to our traditional Easter picture.

Just looking at the angels.

Now that Uncle William has returned, Uncle Phillip is competing to be favorite Uncle with Brookie.

Grandpa Doyle had the best surprise for the kids. He bought a bunch of marshmallow peeps and started a peep throwing fight with everyone. The kids were thrilled and it was hilarious for everyone there! Very memorable, I know the kids will be anticipating a repeat next year.

I randomly saw this photo opportunity, love it!

It was great to finish our Easter celebration with our traditional scripture/egg activity.  Sorry no pics of this one. Next year.
