Heavenly Fathers House

We attended the Newport Beach Temple Together to celebrate Doyle and Julie's wedding anniversary.  Doyle dedicates hours on end to doing family history.  It's an extra special feeling to serve in the temple on behalf of relatives!

Pam is a wonderful sister in law!
Sean's brother's William and Phillip
Doyle and Julie treated us to an amazing dinner at "Five Crowns" in Corona Del Mar.

We had a nice memorable time!

Six Full Years of Brookie Love

After 3 years of Brooklyn asking to get her ears pierced we finally surrendered for her birthday.
There were no tears at all!  You can tell she's nervous but she held it together better than the teenage girl before her.

Our new princess!

It's hard to see the little daisy mulit-colored rhinestone earrings but they are adorable or Brookie's tiny ears.  It costs $30 dollars for the piercing and the earrings.  Boy the prices have gone up since I had my ears pierced.

She's talking to her best buddy Dawson.  He personally called her to wish her happy birthday.  She and Dawson both state they are boyfriend and girlfriend!  Dawson's mom and I think it's cute for now but it's gone on for over a year now.  They don't get embarrassed at all!

Uncle William stopped by before he had to work.  Unfortunately Brookie got sick the night before her b-day.

Grandma McMullin surprised Brookie with her new Disney Brave dress.  Dad and I gave her the Merida doll in the morning.

Auntie Heather Renee  bought her new cowboy boots and a hula hoop.
Brookie Cookie looks so much older than 6!  Dad and I often can imagine her as the gorgeous teenager she will become.  Good thing she has 3 brothers to fight off the boys!  Our family is blessed everyday with her sweet spirit, selfless acts of kindness and unconditional love!

KUD TURNED 4!

Kud is just one of Kaden's nick names and he answers to it just the same.  Auntie Pam and Uncle Phil were very generous and offered to have a pool party for his 4th day.  We celebrated a week early knowing I'd be having chemo just days before his real b-day.

His perfect little face with his perfect little smile melts our heart everyday!

I'm coming to the realization that Kud is not my lil' guy anymore.  He's so big and tall, he's so smart, he has loved learning to read and his sweet imagination is so creative and amazes me all the time.

The cousin's decided to dress up Kaden as a pirate and have a treasure hunt for him in the backyard.  That's not a fake beard on his chin it's his left over chocolate from his cupcake!

One of Kaden's b-day requests was to get new rain boots!  So easily satisfied!

On Kaden's actual birthday, unfortunately I was recovering from my chemo, but fortunately he was spoiled by the Mowers with a fun filled over-nighter.

Auntie took Kaden on a shopping spree while I was sick to spend his b-day money and Auntie's money too!   He can get Auntie Heather to do nearly anything!

A week after Kaden's b-day we took him on his special Mommy-Daddy movie date to see Madagascar 3.  He had us all to himself and we loved every minute!

Ready Set Grow III

Kadster keeps growing like a weed and time keeps flying by around here!

Kaden has been anxiously awaiting to attend real preschool, "Ready, Set Grow".  He did great attending the Mommy pre-school my friends and I rotated teaching this past year but was ready to move up!
Our dear friend Liz Aguila taught Tanner, then Brooklyn, and now Kaden!  I'm hopeful Ms. Aguila will still teach preschool when it's Colby's turn.  It's comforting knowing Kaden is in good loving hands!
Colbster wasn't quite sure what to think when his best buddy stayed at school.  But we did enjoy having some good one on one time together back at home,  that's a rare occasion for sure!

17 1/2 Months of Sugar and Spice

Colbster is in Heaven with his Da-Da.
Pirate Fun!
It's great Tanner is the best helper at the park.  He protects Colby allows me to sit back and relax.

Colby was watching his Elmo DVD during lunch.  He was being cranky and Elmo worked some magic.

I sat in front of him and apparently I was in the way of his view.

Colby's favorite pal "Tess".  Tess would brighten his day and keep him happy and content.  Good thing Tess was very tolerant and patient being poked and prodded by all the kids.

He had a blast roaming around at Chino Hills State Park.

After school greetings....

Wanted or not!
