Colby-Pokey's a Month New

Sweet Colby turned a MONTH new with a blink of my eye!

Poor baby doesn't get enough attention.
Colby-Pokey's first bath without screaming.

Month's before baby #4 arrived we knew we were naming him "COLBY". We'd refer to him as Colby everyday. Kaden thought he was saying Colby but he'd actually say "Pokey". It was too cute that I didn't want to correct him. About a month before Colby arrived we watched the movie "The Other Side of Heaven". In the movie the main character has an island nickname of Kauli-poki. So Colby got his first nickname prior to even being born.

The Most Precious

Possibly the most precious picture I ever did see...

Kaden has adjusted amazingly well to having his little buddy out of my tummy.
Kadster is a big helper. He checks on brother while he's napping; often smothering him with kisses till he wakes up. "Oh Thank you Kaden you are so nice!" Occasionally when Colby cries I tell Kaden that Colby is crying because he wants to be with his big brother Kaden. Kaden takes it real seriously and rushes to the rescue. He often sings to him or tries to bounce him in his lap to calm him.

This particular day Kaden was fighting nap time. So I told him that Colby wanted to nap with him so he'd better be quiet. It worked like a charm Kaden did fall asleep. And not to worry I didn't leave Colby in the bed for long.

Kaden has been so busy being the Big Bro that he has fallen to sleep more than once before nap time even rolls around.

Camping with SUPER DAD

Super Dad took the kids camping while Colby and I rested at home.

When Dad suggested going camping, the kids we ecstatic and started packing.
So of course Daddy started packing too!

Having smore much fun!

Oops...

The kids can't wait to go on the next memorable adventure.
I am excited too because I will be able to join the fun!

Seeing how I wasn't there to take the pictures, Daddy wasn't in any of the pics so I just found this smiley one to include. I'm sure he was smiling just like so watching our angels.

Thanks Super Dad!

My prettiest princess of all!

I had the honors of taking my "prettiest princess of all" to our third annual tea party.

Rapunzel with her short hair style.

Belle was the beautiful hostess of the tea.

How is it that Brookie smiled in all the pictures except for the one with me?
Colby had to be in tow this year. He was a perfect prince and slept the whole time.

Peter and the Clan

Alice was our personal waitress.

Ariel and Prince Erik

Brookie and her best buddy Reagan.

After we returned she put on her new jewelry and gloves to show off to Daddy and the brothers.

I loved spending every priceless moment with my very own princess at the tea. She was is heaven being surrounded by princesses, prince's, cute food, fairytale performances and more. Brookie Love brings out the youth still in me and reminds me to enjoy the fun simple things in life. Thanks my Lyn- your are the prettiest princess of all inside and out!

Mama Little Shortenin'

Mama’s little baby loves shortenin’ shortenin’-Mama’s little baby loves shortenin’ bread.

I'm not sure why this old school song came to mind since Colby's been here but for some reason I've been singing it to him.

I suppose it could be because he's so darn cute,

it's hard to resist from eating his cute little body!

Just Maybe...

Just Maybe...

Possibly...

Dad and I will consider...

Sometime...

In the real...

far-far future...

Letting someone become her eternal prince charming.

One Week New

Poor Kaden is on his 3rd round of sickness in the past month. Accumulatively between Tan, Brookie and Kade we have had 20 days of fever in our home in the last 30 days...

Brookie cherishing her Colby time while Kade is sleeping.

Tan has been patiently waiting to hold Colby again. And without the silly mask.

Since Colby has literally been in incubation in my room. This is the view the kids get throughout the day when they peek at their Colby.

It's been very challenging keeping them away from their favorite baby. We can't wait for this horrible sickness to leave us for good!

It's rare that I have the camera in reach when Colby is awake. Seeing how he was a week early he has slept more than if he was full term. This next week should be a little more exciting!
