Halloween

Our Traditional Family Carving Night. Daddy did a great job.

Kadster was trying his best to help.
He could only do so much when he was strapped down.

Tan the Man was going to be an astronaut until we discovered his costume was mailed to us with a broken zipper. Good thing we had his old pirate gear on hand. He was a great sport and was happy to match his favorite pal. Brookie Love was going to be Ariel for the evening and decided that she'd be Snow White for a change.

We invited some of Tanner's school mates to the ward party.
We are glad they all had a good time.

Kadster didn't quite have a say in what he was going to be this Halloween. He was just happy to match me and that I carried him around a bit more than normal. Not sure if Kaden realized that he was a doggy. He LOVES dogs so much. So he just might have picked this costume.

Daddy won the "Best Costume" Award for the night. Daddy temporarily painted his tooth with gold. Good thing it came off. Kaden still wanted to snuggle though Daddy looked a little scary.

Our Hot Date Weekend

Sean and I went on a much needed get away last month. Thanks to DeAnne being willing to take on all six kids for nearly 48 hours. xoxo The kids didn't miss us a bit.

(good thing I've lost most of that belly since this picture was taken.)

Sean surprised me with a bed and breakfast in Ocean Beach. It was nice and cozy and the breakfast was awesome.

It was so relaxing and great to spend so much QT with my hunny.
Not following any schedule was blissful.

We took my 15+ yr old blades for a slow spin. I'm a wimp now!
And Sean brought his cool fusion scooter.

Yes it's his but he shares with Tanner. It's a pretty dangerous ride.

We finished off our amazing weekend with the BYU vs. San Diego State Game.
Good thing they won.
Our friends Dave and Heidi Budge met up with us too.

Thanks My Love for a memorable fun filled adventure.

Daddy Daughter Date

Brookie was thrilled that she was Daddy's Date to Disneyland on his birthday.
They had a great time and even made it on Pirates. Dad had to convince her for over two weeks to go on the ride and it worked.

Kadster the Great!

Tan and Brookie still want to feed Kaden. They were lucky this afternoon. Kaden doesn't like to be held much now a days. As you can see they just love him to pieces.

Kaden is real busy these days. I had to see it for myself that he could climb right up and play air hockey. The day before Tanner told me that Kaden was being real dangerous on the table and I didn't realize what he meant.

He's also so happy that he can get on and off Sissy's bed alone.
He can even climb to the top of Tanner's bunk bed but I wasn't about to re-enact that one.
For now Dad and I have hid the ladder so poor Tanner has to climb up the side.

Brookie fell to sleep shortly after Kaden got down from her bed.
She is growing up way too fast. She's an awesome "Sizzy" as Kaden would say.

At the Patch

We did make it to the patch last month. We had a blast making memories.

Kaden couldn't roam enough. He was ecstatic to be free for once. Between his allergies and ashtma the poor boy doesn't play outside much. Hopefully that will change soon.

Tanner loved the mega slides.

Brookie was too scared to go down the slides so she was satisfied with the jumpers.

We couldn't miss the animals.
Kaden called all the goats doggies. He sure loves dogs.

Brookie loved Tanner being her Chauffeur.
