My Donald Jared

I guess he's not only mine. First off he belongs to my Mother and then evenly distributed between Heather, Holly, Robby and I. This handsome chap is my Daddy. This picture was on the front of his missionary farewell program from 1962.

It's been 9 years since My Dad returned to his Heavenly Father. Though it's been so long, I truly feel him in my heart everyday.

This year Kadster was in charge of cleaning Grandpa's grave stone. Tan and Sis were at school so he was so excited to be the big helper and he did a great job.

Before my Dad died I thought it was weird to take pictures at cemeteries. Now I have a different perspective on things. The kids and I go a few times a year, not because we think Grandpa's hanging out there but because it gives me a peaceful time amongst our busy lives to teach the kids about Grandpa was and what he stood for.

All Tangled Up

Our very own Rapunzel turned 5!

This is her bashful face while everyone was singing to her. And Kaden was thrilled to have front row singing privileges.

I'm so glad the kids loved playing Limbo. I have such fun memories playing limbo as a tot.
Brookie was showered with love by all the family that was able to come.

Brookie has softened Daddy's heart through the years and has him wrapped really tight around her cute little finger.

"Flowers gleam and glow, let your powers shine!"

My Rapunzel is so much more than a princess. She keeps our sacred lives in perspective and displays charity every day.

Super Super Happy!!!

Tanner got Sissy this Ariel dress she's been wanting since last birthday.

On Sassy's actual birthday we went to Graziano's for dinner and Thrify's ( I mean Rite Aid) for ice cream. I love love love to celebrate! Anything and everything!

Adventures of My Huckleberry Finn

For those of you that know me well, know that that I enjoy calling my sweet children endless nick names. This one actually even shocks me. I don't even love the book but I started calling Colby "Huckleberry" months ago. One of Kaden's nicknames is Berry so maybe I can blame it on that. It dawned on me the other day while our family was watching a Strawberry Short Cake Movie. I used to eat, sleep and breath Strawberry Shortcakes. Now I know where the berry names came from!

We went camping at Doheny Beach to celebrate Colb's turning 6 months!

Just like his brother Kaden used to think, Colbs thinks Dad's hat pulley is a teether toy.

Our angel is just that. He is so patient, so lively, so lovable and his spirit is so strong when we are near him it's breath taking!

Big Bro Berry loves to squeeze his baby. Sometimes to tight.

Huckleberry Finn adores his Daddy. When he hears Dad he nearly breaks his neck get his attention.

This fun picture is the best evidence the chunkasaurus legs.

I don't know if the sweet potatoes ate him or if he ate them? Colby loves eating carrots, sweet potatoes, pears and rice cereal. Thankfully I've been able to eat nearly all fruit and veggies in moderation now. And it all tastes sooo good. Which means Colby is tolerating it.

How dare could Uncle Phil pinch his chunk.

His sweet arm is almost as big as my wrist. Luckily I'm the Mama so I can kiss his sweet smoochy cheeks all day.

Dear time: Please stop! My baby is growing up way to fast!

I Sure Love My Star

Kaden's like a star shining brightly,

Shining for the whole world to see.

How could this sugar boy be 3 now?

In a blink of my eye,

He grew up!

I guess he has a little more growing to do...

Kaden got a cool plasma bike for his birthday! We took it for a spin while Brookie and Tan were at school. Kadster was so sweet to share with his Colbster.

He is lookin' more like Tan these days and Tan loves it.

Tan and Brookie got him a new buzz.

Kaden's actual b-day we got happy meals and headed to the pirate park.

We celebrated with McMullin family a few days later.

Uncle Paul and Aunt Heather Ann are such good sports!

I sure love my star!
