Now that Tanner has read pretty good for over a year he understands why it's so important to know how to read. The kids participated in a Summer Reading program. We would go to the Library each week and pick out 20-25 books.
Kaden and Brookie got credit when books were read to them. Tanner read 90 books Brookie listened t0 75 and Kaden listened to 60! They all earned lots of rewards. Tan read his little heart out to earn this Dr. Suess bird. We are so proud of the great example Tan is to his siblings.
Tan was so patient trying to focus while reading to this little guy! This was our second year participating in the program and I know we will be ready to sign up next summer too!
A few times this summer we had a little art class while Kadster was sleeping. Tanner's dolphin is the top and Lyn's is the bottom. (Brookie traced a little and I didn't help Tan and all!) It was great to see their creativity. Hope to have many years of art class right here at home.
