Around the Abode

I find myself journaling about all our adventures outside our sweet abode. So I'm going to be more conscience of documenting our precious moments right here close to our hearts.

Yes it's a snail. The kids know that the snail is our enemy. Well to our garden anyways.

Dad along with Tan's help built two nice planter boxes to start our organic garden.

Just a few veggies of Tan's labors. He's a little proud!
I over see to make sure the plants are doing good. Otherwise Tanner's responsible for watering 14 plants. He willingly took on the chore. Brookie and Kaden are in charge of the 4 orange tree's that we inherited from Grandma Hundley. The tree's aren't as sensitive. :)

One of Kaden's current nicknames is "Spicy". Kaden's smart, stubborn and spunky. His strong will is as if he's an adult scrunched into a toddler. Spicy describes him perfectly. I miss my spicy right now. He's snoozing away...

Tanner caught nearly a dozen tadpoles when he went to Zion's park with Uncle Phillip. He brought them all home. Such a nice surprise.

It ended up being an awesome educational experience. One healthy bugger survived for 3 weeks. Amongst that time, our little mascot evolved from being a little fish to a froggy. Tanner caught fly's to feed him.

Each day we were amused (including me) at the process. Little Tad's tail absorbed into his body more each day and his little legs slowly broke out of his body. I felt like I was in science class but better. After being a frog for a few days, our buddy died. Dad had an appropriate burial in the front yard.

Wild Daddy comes up with the coolest tricks.

Their joints are yet to be dislocated. Worried me can't help but think that it's bound to happen.

Even Kade can't miss out of the fun ride. Our trampoline is full of fun filed memories. So glad we've had one for 5+ years. And to think that Dad and I didn't break our necks jumping on trampolines without protective nets.

This is Colby's first wagon ride. He loved it! Tanner may have been more excited than Colby or I.
