She's My Girl

Brooklyn loves my high heel shoes. On mother's day I was walking from my bedroom towards the stairs. Brooklyn runs up to me and tried to stop me. She proceeded to say in a stern voice, "Mommy you need to take your shoes off- you might fall down the stairs!!" She put another pair of my shoes on the floor for me as she tried to pry my white heels off of me.

After we returned from church I gave in and let her prance around in them.

Tanner if often talked into playing prince and princess with Brooklyn. The bribe goes kinda like this: Brooklyn smiles, tilts her head and will say, "Come here prince..." She'll ask me if I want to meet her prince. Then she'll sing, "I'm waiting for my prince." Tanner's a trooper. He likes to make his sis happy.

Talking about happy. On the other hand Brooklyn wasn't so happy this particular night. She was out of control. Daddy had put her to sleep around 7:45 and around 8:15 she came running into our bedroom very upset trying to reach behind her back to button her shirt.
You see Grandma Hundley brought over a new outfit during the day. This outfit was in view when Sean put her to bed. Brookie had her own agenda that night. She wasn't going to sleep until she wore her new outfit! She loves wearing feminine clothes and accessories.

(Kinda random but I needed to post it.)

Brooklyn woke up one the first thing that came out of her mouth was...
"I want to eat raisin bran!" The cereal had been in the cupboard forever seeing how I couldn't eat it anymore. Sometimes Brooklyn prefers to eat healthier than the norm. She wakes up all the time with her mind set on something.

I'm amazed at what a strong lively and pink personality she has and she's not even three.
I wish she could stay my little princess forever. Alright I guess I'll let her grow up because I can't wait to see the adorable grand kids she blesses me with.
