Mommy's Little Buckaroo

Sweet Kaden didn't get the chance to meet his Dear Great Grandmother Ruby here on earth.
But he will sure get to know the amazing woman she was.

Though brother Tanner doesn't remember Grandma Ruby she sure was smitten by him. They first met when Tanner was 3 months old. Grandma Ruby nick-named Tanner "Buckaroo" the first day they met. It was evident why she did. At 3 months Tanner had no desire to sit still and would attempt repeatedly to buck off her lap.(Grandma was 88 at the time)

Great Aunt Gale recently gifted Kaden this adorable outfit not even remembering that Grandma used to call Tanner "Buckaroo". I thought this was more than a coincidence.

Lil'Buckaroo II is a bit more mellow than the The O.G. Buckaroo. But Kaden sure looks like his proud big brother. It's like dejavous when I get Kaden dressed in Tanner's hand-me-downs. Last year when Tanner found out he was getting a brother, he assured us that Kaden would look just like him. He was right!
