Who is Georgie Boy anyways...........
According yo Wikipedia, The legend is that St. George slayed a dragon. In other words he was a knight. St.
George was real. He was an early Christian martyr. He was a soldier in
the Roman army and refused a direct order to persecute and kill
Christians. For this, he was tortured and beheaded. Some of his deeds
are probably mythical or, at the very least, exaggerated. Dragons have
never existed. Perhaps he did kill some animal that was threatening a
town such as a crocodile, but it is unlikely he could have slayed a
dragon.
After a full two weeks of Dr. appts for
me, we headed to St. George for a fun filled, a.k.a. normal weekend. The
Budge family joined us too.
 |
We returned to the good ol' Washington Rec Ctr water park. It's a necessary adventure every time we visit St. George. Grandma Hundley always comes to join the fun even though it's super humid. |
 |
Colby wasn't the only one going to town in the water! |
Tanner didn't mind a bit that his little shadow wanted to copy everything he did with the exception of the huge water slide! I can't begin to describe Tanner's selfless attributes as a brother. He's so loving and genuinely kind that I can only describe him as "Christ Like". I know Heavenly Father is continually proud his righteous example he sets for our family.
 |
Another perk to the Rec Ctr is that they have this cool rock climbing wall, and it only cost $1 to climb as many times as you want. In California it would at least cost $10 for only one or two climbs. Climbing is just one more thing that Daddy and Tanner both enjoy. |
It wouldn't have been the same if we didn't visit St. George's beautiful temple.
 |
We love love love to visit the temple as a family! Tanner knows he has less than four years before he can attend the temple with us and we are looking forward to that special day. And Brooklyn knows she has too many years to count. Those years will sneak up on us and I know I'll be crying my eyes out with tears of joy of course! |
 |
My Mommy and I were blessed to attend the temple together. There's nothing compared to the feelings you get from serving the Lord in the Temple! |
The older kids got to go rock climbing with the Dad's while the youngster's stayed safe at home.
 |
I know it's hard to tell but this is a picture of Brookie Love. She held her own climbing around with the boys. |
 |
All dressed and ready to go to church with Grandma Hundley. |
 |
Colbster can never get enough Daddy time! |
 |
We had a great weekend getting away! We are looking forward to our next Georgie Boy trip. | | | |
