On the road again...

We went to St. George conference weekend for a little family get away and to support Uncle Phil running the St. George marathon.
This is Tanner at one of our many diaper changing stops.
He sure loves rocks!

This particular chunk of time was our most peaceful of the trip.
It was great Brooklyn and Kaden slept a good portion on the way to Utah and back.

Years ago, Sean said he wanted to hike the Narrow's in Zion Park with me.
Between my sick pregnancies and nursing my angels there hasn't much time.

Thanks to Grandma Julie and Grandpa Doyle, Sean and I were able to hike the Narrows.
It was very cold and wet the whole hike but so cool.

It was definitely a date I will never forget. To be able to spend the day with my best friend and be at one of the most beautiful places on earth was pure bliss.

This was an attempt to warm up a bit.

This is a picture of complete strangers. We discovered that we were approaching a waist deep portion of the river.

Sean was sweet and offered to turn back because we weren't really prepared like other people that had their water proof pants and boots.

I was a sport and thought what the heck! We may a well do it. When were we going to have this opportunity in the near future? So we froze together.

It's always great when strangers cooperate and take our picture.
They did a great job. You can't tell but we are soaked from our waist down.

*Thanks hubby for being so adventurous*

OUR PROFESSIONAL ROCK CLIMBER

Dad took him out for a little one on one time.

I LOVE this picture. Sean did a awesome job.
Tan's smile says it all.

Kaden attempting to take Dad's apple away.

We had to visit the St. George temple too.

This one wasn't a good picture of any of us but I had to post.
Check out Brookie's scowl.
All I can say is that she fell asleep in the car shortly after due to exhaustion.

Uncle William and Grandpa Doyle watching some of conference.
Priceless!

This is the third year that the guys got to attend priesthood session together.
If you look closely you can see Sean's 5-o-clock shadow.

The feet on the left are Sean's. Yes he's wearing black socks with black flip-flops.

You see I was straightening up before we left on our trip and I put his church shoes away not thinking about priesthood session. I realized what I had done once we were on the road. Sean was forgiving. He was about due for new shoes anyways so he went to four stores looking for some.

NO LUCK! So we all voted that if he wore a combo of dark socks and dark sandals guys might not even notice. We all know how most guys do pay much attention. He didn't see anyone even looking!

We went to the park and I had to take advantage of the awesome lighting.

Loving her to pieces is so easy.

Brooklyn won the "I found the longest stick award".
She was very proud.

We had a great time staying with the McMullin Clan.
Thanks for making memories with us!

Beautiful!!! The Hike looked like lots of fun and gorgeous! (I kinda miss the dry heat! (except you were cold)) Anyway... It looked like you guys had alot of fun! I can't wait to see you guys this weekend! Oh ya I forgot to call you guys about Disneyland... Come with us for sure ok? I'll see if I can find out what time my mom wants to go... It'll probably be first thing when the park opens. But you can meet us there when ever is good for you guys. Tell your sisters too just in case they can come. If not don't worry I will try to see everyone for sure. Miss ya!
